Cove use: $25 per section 

Light, careful use of the 5' radius cove back (cyclorama) is included at no extra charge, as long as no one steps on the fragile white surface, nor nothing placed upon it. The cove floor is covered by two removeable floor panels, and with advance notice, one or both of these panels can be slid over to expose the cove floor, providing a seamless, continous 20' wide white surface. There is a $25 charge for us to do this.  

Marks/damages to the Cove: $25 - $600 

If the cove floor is marked with things like dark shoe soles, dirt, sharp objects, or scrapes from heavy objects, you will be charged $25-$600, depending on the extent of cleaning, repainting, repair, and/or studio downtime, depending on how extensive the damage is. Due to normal use, the cove may not be pristine. If you require a perfect cove, then you can order to have it painted and patched up before your shoot. The cost is at least $300, depending on current condition, including paint & supplies, and we ideally need at least up to 3 weekdays with no studio bookings for this request, to accommodate plastering & drying.

We have dozens of colors of mainly coreless seamless paper as studio stock, as a convenience to our clients... actually about 80% of those colours swown in swatches - and can order missing ones in for you as rentals ($50 min rental charge per ordered color, minimum 5 workdays notice). If you are relying on using a particular color, we suggest that you either come by beforehand and check swatches and availablity, or just purchase a new roll and bring it with you.  

Many of our rolls are almost new, while others have been used several times, and have sections marked or are shorter.  

seamless paper rental (in house): $15 for 9' and $30 for 12' 

Usage fee: If it touches the floor, the charge is $4 (9') or $8 (12') per foot used. (If you choose to stand on an already used section the per foot fee is waived - but used area must be marked and signed by studio staff) 

These prices assume that you do the installation or if the paper is already mounted to our backdrop system. We typically have 9' and 12' chroma green, as well as gray and black mounted. 

If want us to do the install and removal, which may also involve re-rolling papers onto another core (for coreless only), the charge is $10/ $20 per roll. We usually have some leftover seamless that is too short to hang, or has lots of footprints, and you are welcome to use that, at no charge. Ask first before using any seamless. 

We have a more limited selection of 4 ft.-wide (1/2 price), and 12 ft.-wide (double the price) rolls.  

If you are bringing your own seamless, we have two Manfrotto Autopoles (one with an extender), together with a Manfrotto Expan chain drive set, which can be used for any width cored seamless. It is included free with a studio rental.

These are 4' x 8' Formica or Plexiglas sheets, most in new or almost new condition. These include white, black, and brushed stainless. 

These rent for $40 per day, and if you scratch it or damage it in any way, you will be charged full replacement charge and service fees for doing so. These are flexible sheets, so be prepared to have to clamp them onto boards, or we can take care of that for you for an extra charge, for using as vertical backdrops, rather than lying flat. Special effect backgrounds include brick, wood, etc. Please call to inquire about your needs.
