These lighting 6 bulb fixtures are an excellent choice when a soft, yet smaller light source is desired, with the key advantage being cool operating temperature, energy efficiency, and compact size. They are very bright, equivalent to when a 2000W traditional tungsten fixture is used with a CTB (daylight color balancing) gel. These lights create light output and operation similar to the 4 bulb Kino Flo Diva-Lite 400.
By default, they come with 5400k bulbs, giving a clean light that matches daylight, and can also be used for a cooler (light blue) background effect when lighting the cove, seamless, or canvases and muslins. It is also very effective as an edge light, especially with the 4 built-in, mirrored, large barndoors. With positioning these strategically, combined with the 3 individually-switch pairs of bulbs, you can have the equivalent of a dimmable light source. Their relatively square size also lends itself to using regular sized, more economical sheets of gels and diffusion material. Each light comes with a diffusion screen, as well.
We will also have these available to be configured with 3200k bulbs, in order to color match other tunsten sources.
